Hon Atong Kuol Manyang Juuk National Minister of Trade and Industry has been welcomed to her office by the Staff of the Ministry. the event was attended by several dignitaries, including the outgoing Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon Amb. Joseph Moum Majak, Hon Dr. Dhieu Mathok Minister for Investment, Hon Dr. Nadia Arop Dudi Minister of Culture, Museums and National Heritage, Hon Eng Mayen Deng Alier Chairperson of the specialist committee of Trade in the National Legislative Assembly, Hon Simon Akuei Commissioner General of the South Sudan National Revenue Authority, and Hon Gloria Nyoka Chief Executive Director of the South Sudan National Bureau of Standards, among others.
In her keynote address, Hon Atong Kuol Manyang expressed her gratitude to His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit for the trust and confidence he bestowed upon her. She also acknowledged the warm reception accorded to her by the staff of the Ministry and promised to work closely with the team in the ministry. She also extended her appreciation to the outgoing Minister, Hon Amb. Joseph Moum Majak, for welcoming her to the Office. Hon Amb. Joseph Moum Majak congratulated the newly appointed Minister of Trade and Industry for the trust and confidence given to her by H.E. President Salva Kiir , He also urged the staff to cooperate with the new Minister to implement the plans.
